KERB, King’s Cross

It’s not often a Londoner wishes they were nearer King’s Cross, but it happens to me every time my mouse wanders over to Twitter on a weekday lunchtime, and I see a flurry of pictures from traders and punters at KERB. No matter what day, or what the line-up, you’ll find yourself a new lunch of champions.

My first ever visit was rewarded with Homeslice‘s crisp, imaginative pizza. More recently you’re likely to find such gems as Prairie Fire BBQ, The Rib Man, Bleecker Street burgers, Mother Flipper, Kooky Bakes, BAO London, and loads more that I haven’t yet treated myself to.

The crowd is polite and not so big that you’ll faint with hunger while waiting for your feed, and each day’s line up is varied enough to please even the least adventurous desk buddy. For miles under a tenner. It’s now open Saturdays too, plus spots by the Gherkin, UCL and now in Peckham see KERB making the whole city a tastier place.
