This photo actually makes the burger look dirtier than it ought (though of course it is dirty), but don’t be put off. This is one very delicious cheeseburger. It comes with the best chips I’ve encountered from one of these diet-bothering outlets; crinkle-cut, slightly smaller than oven chips, crisp, soft in the middle. Just right. The onion fries are the best onion rings I’ve ever had, and they’re not even technically onion rings. But why should battered onion always conform to being circular anyway?
The only downside to Dirty Burger is that it is not a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your meal. The surrounds are a corrugated iron shed that’s only slightly more sturdy than my secondary school’s bike sheds, and the stools are in high demand and just tall enough that your feet to have nowhere to be. But the food is so good that you probably won’t give a damn.
