Mishkin’s, Covent Garden

Reuben at Mishkin's
The last time I boasted about eating the Reuben at Mishkin’s I got ridiculed for spending £11 on a toastie, which made me feel a little ashamed for a while. But you know what, This toastie was worth £11. I paid it once and I’d pay it again. The pile of pastrami, the stretchy, salty swiss cheese and the crisp, flavoursome pickle all make this sandwich extra desirable for me. It’s so big that I got the second half wrapped up and ate it for dinner, and it was still delicious the second time around.
It’s not cheap, sure, but Mishkin’s does a great plate of food. And a great ‘Gin Fizz’. And sells cream soda. So I like it.
